“No amount of hard work will ever change who our ancestors are. While you and I make a good living, it’s nothing when compared to the royal family, and we’re the lucky ones. Do you ever look at our Muslim brothers from Pakistan and Afghanistan? The ones that are on these work crews?” I asked.
Tahir and Siraj nodded their heads.
“It's embarrassing,” Tahir agreed. “They work incredible hours and get paid next to nothing building palaces, roads, or whatever for the monarchy.”
